The Boqueria Market in Barcelona boasts of being one of the best in Europe, I would argue the world. A must see for any food lover.

A couple of unique places not to miss on your visit:
Petras Fruits de Bosc: For the best selection of mushrooms I have ever seen, Petras is incredible. Not only the best in variety, but in beauty and freshness as well. Petras also has an impressive array of specialty food items.
El Quim de la Boqueria: For a quick and delicious lunch, stop by the counter at El Quim. A great and entertaining place to sample some of the best tapas in town. So good in fact, we made a point to go twice during our short visit.
